Graffia Gallery

Graffia Gallery offers beginning classes in Painting, Drawing, and is starting a class in Woodcuts and in Encaustic Painting.  In a very small group of  three students, the result is much more personal instruction than the average art class.

All classes are four weeks, and repeat each month.

Private instruction is also available, $20 per hour.

Linda has taught in the metro Detroit area for years, recently transplanted to West Michigan. She is an artist and the owner of Graffia Gallery.

Beginning Drawing

Students will practice basic or advanced skills with emphasis on light, shadow, value, form, line quality, and perspective. Oil pastel, soft pastel, pencil, charcoal and ink will be used. Portrait, still life and other drawing skills will be incorporated.

Intermediate Drawing

Students who have taken Beginning Drawing. More techniques, new projects, use of mixed media.

Beginning Painting

Using acrylic paint, students will learn basic techniques of observation, color mixing, paint application, brushwork, and use of materials. Still life, figurative and portrait painting will be incorporated.

Intermediate Painting

Students who have taken Beginning Painting. More techniques, new projects, use of mixed media.
